Dr. Kini Tran
For Dr. Kini Tran, dentistry was a natural calling. From a young age, Dr. Tran has had a strong desire to help, lead, and educate others. His early experiences as a boy scout member of his local church, a seminarian as a young adult, and a high school volleyball coach allowed him to engage with his community and teach those around him. Following in the footsteps of his older sisters, Dr. Tran found his perfect fit in the field of dentistry.
Dr. Tran graduated from NOVA Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2003 and relocated to Houston in 2004. Together with his wife, Dr. Kim Nguyen, he decided to set roots in Houston and fulfill his dream of opening his own dental practice. His goal is to provide a professional and calming atmosphere to help patients feel less anxious about dental work, share his knowledge, and form lasting relationships with his patients.
In his leisure time, Dr. Tran enjoys playing volleyball, basketball, and golf. He is also an avid skier who loves traveling and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Kim Nguyen
Dr. Kim Nguyen grew up in Houston, Texas, and knew from a very young age that she wanted to be a dentist. Having had numerous dental experiences as a patient herself, Dr. Nguyen realized her aspiration to be a gentle and caring dentist who treats her patients like family. To her, dentistry is a blend of artistry and compassion, creating beautiful, healthy smiles.
Dr. Nguyen completed her undergraduate education at the University of St. Thomas and graduated from the University of Texas School of Dentistry. Together with her husband, Dr. Tran, she decided to open their own dental office to realize their vision of patient care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with her family, playing and watching sports, cooking, dancing, watching movies, and traveling.
